Our dear friend Cassie succumbed to canine lymphoma over Thanksgiving. I am thankful that SG was here with us, and that Cassie went quickly. She was a dignified pooch, and it is such a blessing that she did not suffer. Cassie, I will miss you more than I can say. You have been an integral part of our lives for the past 10 years, and you have helped remind us of life's most important things: eat fresh bread every day (if you can get it off the counter), chase your dreams (even if they smell like skunk) and remember that "or" is a dirty word. Thank you for being our best friend, and the Best Dog Ever.
